Welcome to Combe Hay, a friendly and caring Residential Home in the coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
At Combe Hay we use our vast experience to ensure that the very best care is delivered with kindness, sensitivity and a smile in a pleasant and welcoming environment.
It is our aim to make Combe Hay our residents’ home, a place where they can retain their independence and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fulfillment.
We understand that the decision to move into a Residential Care Home is one of the most important you will have to make for yourself or a loved one. So please explore our website to find out more about our beautiful Home and feel free to contact us with any questions or to arrange a visit.
Situated in large, attractive and tranquil gardens on the outskirts of Scarborough, yet only minutes from both the town centre and the sea, Combe Hay offers accommodation which is fully ensuite and suitable for male and female residents with some larger apartments available for two people. We have ample parking for residents and their guests and extensive beautifully-kept gardens for everyone to enjoy.
Combe Hay began in 1958 when money bequeathed by George Edward Smart established the Charitable Trust which now owns and runs the Home. Nowadays the Board of Trustees ensure that the benefactor’s vision for a home providing excellent care for its residents continues to develop to incorporate all that anyone would want from their new home and as a registered charity all money is reinvested into the home to provide excellent services and to keep fees and costs affordable.
